![]() Realistically there are 15" 4060s with 12-series CPUs, MUX, Thunderbolt, lower weights and more portable power bricks coming under $1500 (not on sale), ie., this Gigabyte G5, so 17"s 4060s will hopefully be down into the $16-1700 range by the end of summer, if you can wait. It's also 6.5 lbs and runs hot, so this would be a permanent fixture on a desk, not your lap. There are a lot of complaints about Steelseries' (for RBG customization) and MSI's janky on board software though, some of which requires a flash, which shouldn't be too difficult (since I'd be reinstalling to Windows 10 anyway, personally). For reference, an Asus 4K 3080 32gb DDR5 goes for $2300 on Amazon right now which is considered best in class (when factoring cost vs. but have undervolted GPUs (100/105w cap) and very poor screens - the GP76 seems to have 140W. The Katana and TUF 17s hover around $1600 currently (when on sale) with the same specs. MSI is expanding in India day by day, they have tie up with Indian Authorized service partner for any kind of problems or difficulties faced by the end users, they have service center in Tier 1 cities for now, i.e Mumbai,Hyderabad, Delhi, Bangalore etc. I'd say the regular price point for these specs will eventually settle around $1400 (so maybe $12-1300 on sale?). Pretty good deal if you need something right now, I've been watching 17"s for a while.
